St. Augustine's Holiday Events

The holiday season is upon us and although it is not warm enough to swim, St. Augustine oceanfront condos are considered one of the most romantic places for couples to vacation. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, come stay at our beach view condo rentals, or oceanfront rentals, and enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, stroll down the beautiful white sandy beach during the day, take a carriage ride through the magical twinkling lights at night, and enjoy the many delicious restaurants we have within walking distance.

While on your vacation, join May Realty and Resorts in a family-friendly tradition for St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights, and attend the Luminary Night the evening of Wednesday, December 7, 2016.  St. Augustine’s Lighthouse grounds will open for this annual celebration that is fun for everyone. Luminary Night is a wonderful opportunity for St. Augustine beach vacation visitors to experience the holidays, St. Augustine-style. The celebration will take place from 7pm-9pm and children can also visit Santa.

There are many activities for your entire family to enjoy during this special event.  The Lighthouse and Museum out-does themselves for Luminary Night with plenty of holiday refreshments, music, children’s activities and much more.

The 3 million white twinkling, lights during Nights of Lights will continue through January 31,2017.  While on your St. Augustine ocean view vacation, the best way to fully experience St. Augustine’s charm is to walk through the festive, glowing atmosphere and get a close-up look at the St. Augustine Lighthouse’s spectacular holiday decorations.  Visitors also love to climb the Lighthouse Tower and look over the beautiful Nights of Lights from the top.

After your holiday tour, join us Thursday night, December 9th as the St. Augustine Orchestra presents its annual Holiday Concert titled, "Home for the Holidays."  This holiday event is as staple of St. Augustine’s Christmas season, and will be at the Lightner Museum, in the antique courtyard area.  We will continue our holiday celebrations on Saturday, as we have our annual Fiesta de Avilés. This event had to be postponed due to the hurricane, and will be on Avilés Street, the oldest street in the nation's oldest city and the heart of its original art district.
